 It’s not unusual in summer for OLM to have a company outing at Lake Allatoona so Ed Jensen didn’t think anything of it when he was told there would be one on Friday, July 10. What he did not remember was why that date was special: Ed’s 20-year anniversary with OLM!
After weeks of stealth planning (special thanks to Linda and Melody!) and with help from Ed’s wife Lisa, all OLM employees went for a typical day at the lake. Late in the afternoon company president Tommy Medlock said he was taking the “boys only” out on the lake for some tubing and male bonding – leaving the ladies free to meet the incoming friends and family and put up the decorations.
Imagine Ed’s surprise when returning in the boat to see balloons and a big banner on the dock congratulating him on his 20 years with OLM, with family and friends shouting and waving!
 Later at the lake house after a wonderful catered meal, it was time to open presents and cut the cake (yum!). Amid the cards and gifts, Tommy presented Ed with his gift from OLM, an engraved Rolex Explorer watch!
It is rare to find someone with the dedication that Ed has. We thank Ed for his service and look forward to many more years of working together!
